Yearbooks are ostensibly designed to faithfully capture and freeze the significant events of a particular year into a volume which will remind the readers of the "good old days" and the friends who made them possible. Landslide 1977 will not recreate all of the relevant scenes for all of the people, but we have tried to present as many of the facets of WMC as possible in an effort to provide something for everybody. Landslide 1977 is a result of many months of hard work, learning, teeth gnashing and shifting of responsibility. Many people were involved in the production of the book, but two deserve recognition: Marie Russell, the business manager, for imparting a measure of sanity, and Tom James, our Yearbook rep., whose patience, endurance, encouragement and accessibility, did much to make this book possible We hope that as "time makes you bolder" you will experience many changes without letting the landslide bring you down. Enjoy. Rita Mutino, editor !I 304
