people often ask why i came to a school like western maryland. learning of course was one of my primary .... reasons. having been educated in the public schools r:: of baltimore city, i found living and going to school at .~ western maryland situation. go- to be a very different ~ ing from 9 black students in my freshman year to 7 in ;=.: my senior year, i sometimes found my existence =: "trying". however, campus has been a learning one. student ~ as a black my experience on this all-white ,.:I I: ~ '. .. i am sure that these past four years at western maryland wH1help me and perhaps the few friends i made to transcend the dimen- sions of racism and enter into .
