President Lowell S. Ensor A venerable institution since 1947, President Ensor has always tried to bring foresight and clear logic to the problems of the college. It has not been an easy job as he has had difficulty in establishing communication with the student body. Being President requires that a man learn how to compromise in a way that pleases all parties. The installation of machines in the grille is a case in point. President Ensor is trying and in many ways he is the perfect embedment of what Western Maryland Col- lege represents. 226
