Class of '66 No cool, suave, sophisticated class-we pray not that ... rather, a warm, friendly tightly-hound class-that we pray, that we are. Through pledging, Hell Week, mixers, exams, vacations, convocations, the big chapel Sunday evenings, some Thurs- day evenings the little chapel ... Together. Some in band, some in orchestra, more in choir; working in student gov- ernment, student committees, working for Western Maryland and the sophomore class ... Together and spread out, our influence felt, yet together as one class, each one of us a part of the class, the class a part of each one of us. . . . Two years, now, completed two years of mutual re- spect, appreciation, consideration two years of work, two years of fears of failing, joys of success, achieving ... two years of mutual support ... two years of taking stock and changing majors, two years of wonders and of wondering ... two years now and forever past. Two years yet remaining! What promise hold those years! What new heights, new aspirations, new ideas! Yet, these also will all too quickly pass ... But ere they do, our mark will be felt. Two years, now, completed ... Two years yet remaining. We are the Class of 1966. 162
