The innovation assumed form in the appointment of "Bill" Pelton, a member of the Junior class, as student coach. "Bill" deserves much credit for the prosperous season enjoyed by the Freshman quintet, for he successfully developed a system of play that felled some of the best opposition in that class of basketball. A sharp, short, passing attack, with team work as the key to the offense, riddled almost every opponent encountered.
