Playing a most difficult schedule, six games were won, two lost and one tied. New relations were formed with Temple University and Saint Francis College, while old ones were re-established with Mount Saint Mary's and the University of Maryland. Four men, Neal, Clark, Van Buren, and Havens, were selected for the mythical AlI-Maryland eleven as being the best in the state for their respective positions. The season opened at Westminster with Dickinson ColIege as the opposing eleven. MilIer and Long, each crossing the goal line once, led the attack in a game featured by straight football and a display of potential power on the part of the Green Terrors, despite the absence of the colorful Neal.
