F we didn't usually see Phoebe lightly step from the car in which she arrives every morning there would be cause to doubt if she really were around, she's that quiet and unobtrusive. But her personality and character are felt just as strongly as her physical presence might be doubted. You just know her daily work is thoroughly prepared and organized. You can be sure she appreciates jokes as well as the rest, even though she may not laugh as loudly (she probably laughs at things and at us much more often than we dream of).
