NEAL HAVENS NEAL A great captain of a worthy team. A real All-American in football ability and in heart. He lived up to the finest t radi tions of the great American game, both on and off the field. Greasy has spread fear to the hearts of all Western Maryland's opponents and has brought respect and honor to the name of the college which he represents. HAVENS One of the greatest fighting centers in the counrr y. His passing, is mar- velously accu~ate and his tackling is deadly. He is always in the thickest of the fight-thinking always. Very intelligent. always honorable, the coaches rate him as one of the best two centers they have seen in twenty years. SPEIR Barney has been one of the bulwarks of Western Maryland athletics for years. H2 has handled a difficult job well and unselfishly. Painstaking and honest, loyal and courageous, Barney is one whom Western Maryland is proud to call a son.
