The Soccer Season HE team was at a great disadvantage due to the fact that many of the T good soccer players went out for Freshman and there was no regular coach for this sport. The team was coached Nichols (Captain) and Umbarger. The season started with two hard games, West Point and Annapolis. The team journeyed the long distance to the Military Academy by bus, and although they lost, they did their best and had a fine trip. The same week the team met the Navy Varsity and were defeated again but they showed a marked improve- ment. The next two games were with Franklin and Marshal with on€: win and one loss. Two games were taken from the State Normal School and the season closed with a 6 to 0 victory over the city college.
