John C. Harper of St. Michaels, MD is the grandson of William S. Crouse, Class of 1871. and grand nephew of Thomas O. Crouse, also of the class of 1871. Thomas and William Crouse were originally from R.oxbury, PA.
William Crouses's daughter, Anna ella graduated from Western maryland College in 1893 and married Mr. Crittenden Harper of royal Oak, MD.
