Called the Fall Convocation from 1953-1974, this annual welcome of first years to the academic life was renamed Matriculation Convocation in 1975 and 1976. In 1977 the Matriculation Convocation was replaced by the Fall Awards Luncheon. The more formal Convocation was retintroduced in 1982 with the Induction Convocation, which from1985 onwards was called Introduction Convocation.
This series includes papers, memos, correspondence, and programs.
