- The cane was a gift of the class of 1893. Each year the cane would be passed down to the president of the sophomore class and the class president would affix the class pin.

- Cane is inscribed with Elwood Davis's name at the top. Wrapping around the cane is a college cheer.

- Poisonous arrows and blow gun from the Island of Paragua, (Palawan Island, Philippines) given to Albert Norman Ward, third president of McDaniel College. Listed as artifact 29 in the Archives Artifact and Memorabilia Inventory Records.
- Box B00617: Miniature Masks of Chinese Opera Characters
- Four character masks from the Beijing opera "Romance of Three Kingdoms" represent Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. The masks were given to the College by Myra McDade and are listed as artifact 31 in the Archives Artifacts and Memorabilia Inventory Records.
- Box B00618: Peacock Fans
- Peacock fans given to the College by William Briscoe. According to a letter written in 1943 to Dr. Holloway, then president of Western Maryland College, the fans are from either India or Persia. Mr.. Briscoe did not have any other information except they were given to him by friends many years previous. The fans are listed as artifact 30 in the Archives Artifacts and Memorabilia Inventory records. Letter is with fans.

This is the working sketch of the mural painted in the Hoover Library Lobby and was presented to the Library Committee for their approval in 1991.

- Banner was used during Joan Devlin Coley's Inuaguration as the eight president of Western Maryland College.
- Accession 2009FIC242: Physical Dimension Campaign Banner, 1978 - 1984
- The Physical Dimension Campaign was to provide the funds to design and build the new Physical Education and Learning Center, known as PELC.
- Item 47a: Ceremonial Spade, Smith Hall Ground Breaking, 1887
Ceremonial Spade– mountain mill scene painted on blade used for the ground breaking ceremony for Smith Hall, June 1887. This shovel was painted by students Henrietta E. Dodd, Class of 1887, E. May Wallis, Class of 1888, and Mary Jones Fisher, Class of 1890. Their names are painted on the shovel blade. Wallace and Fisher’s names are also on the handle. The other names on the handle include Emma May Adams, Class of 1887, Anna E. Parker, ex Class of 1889, Edith M. Richards, Class of 1886, and Edith Stevens, ex Class of 1891. Smith Hall, a part of the “Old Main” complex, was named for John Smith of Wakefield, charter member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. It included a dining hall, auditorium, and a dormitory for women .The building was razed in 1959.

- Ceremonial shovel – Yingling gymnasium painted on blade. Used for the ground breaking for Yingling Gymnasium in 1889. A gift of Anna Yingling, class of 1871, and designed by Gott ; renovated in 1904 and became Yingling Hall of Science; observatory placed at top in 1912; razed in 1914 to make room for Lewis Recitation Hall; materials from the building were used to make another gymnasium later used for R.O.T.C.; razed completely in 1959.

- Accession 2014.13: Piece of Gill Gymnasium Floor, 1996
- This is a piece of the Gill Gymnasium floor rescued by Dr. Richard (Dick) Clower after the fire of December 31, 1996 almost destroyed the gymnasium. The red line across the 9.5 inch floor slat was part of the badminton court line.

Pennant has the name M. Elgin on back. Two alumnae have the name M. Elgin: Mary Rinehart Elgin class of 1952 and Mary W. Elgin, ex 1910. Green and gold W. M. C. pennant splits to a double point.

Leather hide banner with the Western Maryland College seal painted on it and written underneath is Branche H. Phillips, Jr. Mr. Phillips graduated from Western Maryland College in 1930.

Senate Bill 377, (Chapter 576) of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1976. Signed by Governor Marvin Mandel. Funds were used for Decker,
House bill 729 (Chapter 759) of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1981. Signed by Governor Harry Hughes. Funds were used for WMC Alumni Hall.
