Reference Desk     

The reference department at Hoover Library is staffed by four librarians and one reference assistant. Reference desk coverage varies, but most weeks during the fall and spring semesters reference staff are available to assist users from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 am through 4:00 pm Fridays.

Reference Tools     

The reference collections include over 11,000 reference books as well as numerous electronic resources.

Library Instruction     

Teaching faculty and librarians work closely to develop library instruction classes to assist students with their research and to complement regular classroom teaching. To schedule a library instruction class, contact Jane Sharpe at x-2278 or Sally Jones at x-2287.
