    • Portal for technical report information generated through federally funded research and development projects. Excellent site.
  • NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS)
    • Search for abstracts and full text of articles on astronomy and astrophysics, instrumentation, and physics and geophysics. Includes most of the major astronomical journals.
    • Provides access or pointers to astronomical data catalogs and data archives.
    • Also includes scanned astronomy books, including Martin Zombeck's Handbook of Space Astronomy and Astrophysics.
  • National Academy Press
    • Search or browse over 1,500 books online in science, engineering, health, and technology, including the physical sciences.
  • ScienceDirect
    • One of the world's largest providers of scientific, technical and medical (STM) literature.
  • Scientific American
    • Full-text articles from (v. 274 no. 4) April 1996 to present. Searchable. Can also search for citations from 1993 to present from the Scientific American Archives.
    • Hoover Library carries v. 188 (1953) to present.
  • HighWire Press (Stanford University)
    • Full-text science archive. Develops and maintains Web versions of journals in the life sciences, medicine, physical sciences, and social sciences.
  • Online Serials (Internet Public Library)
    Links to full-text astronomy journals, magazines, etc. Cannot search for articles.
