This collection contains nominations for and copies of honorary degrees conferred by McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) from 1869 through the present and Trustee Alumni Awards from 1976 to the present.

There were no honorary degrees conferred for the following years:

1867, 1868; 1870, 1871; 1881, 1882, 1888, 1889; 1891, 1894; 1900, 1903, 1904, 1906; 1913, 1914, 1916, 1917, 1918; 1930, 1931, 1933
