Abstract

This collection contains memorabilia from William Beatty's Western Maryland College class reunions, awards given to William Beatty, and other college memorabilia. It also contains a copy of his reminiscences of VE-Day, World War II and copies of letters he sent home during this period.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

William Beatty's collection of memorabilia will be of interest to researchers studying college graduates and their relationship to their Alma Mater. The World War II reminiscences will be of interest to those researching veterans and their rememberances.
