Abstract

This collection contains papers and programs for induction convocation of new students, Senior Investiure and Honors Convocation, Spring Awards Ceremony, and comencement programs, invitations, and schedules.

Collection Historical Note

The first commencement held in June 1868 was a celebration of the end of the college’s first full academic year. Commencements were also held in 1869 and 1870, however the first baccalaureate degrees were given in 1871.
